Lego!

Slightly smaller 😉

Speaking of which, completed this week the lights kit;

That looks incredible. Now you just need to re-create a little bit of Florida that blends into an appropriate background image and Voila!👍

Now for something completely different. This is the reason I leave Pocket in my Firefox. You never know when something really interesting will show up. In this case a ~ $300.00 U.S. fully motorized microscope built with Lego, a few fairly simple 3d printed parts and some other readily available bits. It is awesome.

The video showing how it all goes together is definitely worth a look.

Edit: I guess I should have mentioned that this was developed by an IBM Research Engineer in Switzerland and it's the real deal.

Edit again for typo.

Well finished the Rough Terrain Crane Set# 42082. 4057 pieces and a lot of time. About a week, doing a bit almost every night.

Here are some pics after each stage of the build is done.

And here it is fully extended:

Then lifting 2 monster trucks at once:

And those trucks with the boom extended, and yes it is bending a lot, but did not break.

This was the biggest build I have ever done and it was totally worth it. Thing is big and fun to play with. Now to get the other parts I need to build the MOC someone did to make this fully remote including the driving.
