And the very same day I hear on the news about a Canadian being expulsed from China for lude acts, and a Concordia student too - what a disgrace!
and now this......... Well this is an area of Montreal infested by street gangs and thugs - I don't understand why ANYBODY in their right mind would want to live in that part of town - and the riot had NOTHING to do with the police shooting - it started with a simple protest, nothing violent but it turned violent when some thugs used this opportunity to lit fires, rob stores, etc, they were attacking innocent people and stealing from people that had NOTHING to do with the shooting earlier - they even showed a guy coming out the store with a TV LOL - That's Montreal for you - mind you it's nothing compared to downtown L.A. but still, it's surprising to see things like that. As long as the Canadian government close their eyes on the VERY SERIOUS problem of street gangs and does NOTHING about it, even if it is as much as amending the constitution and putting hash laws to make it SAFER for people to live in their own goddamned house, then you will see this problem get worse. Those same mother****ers vote and are supposed to be the "future"
This is the reason we have a military. Why don't we take more serious actions against rioters. Not to mention gangs. In some countries there are almost no gangs because the police kill them.
I like the idea of batons and water cannons and bean bag guns and stuff like that. If I new a riot was happening you bet I would act fast. And some of them even targeted paramedics?! Man oh man are these guys low. I believe Canadian law should be changed that if you are in a violent protest you should get a prison sentence no questions asked. Something should be done to make it harder for this to happen.

It will never happen in Canada land, criminals have it all too easy here it makes me fucking sick - Protesting against police brutality is one thing, but vandalizing stores and innocent civilian cars that had NOTHING to do with anything, that is low - what a DISGRACE some parts of Montreal have become, I mean this problem is not limited to Montreal, however it was never like this in Montreal. Some people even compared this to the Bronx. Are you kidding me ? Look at the mayor's reaction - it is a damn joke - it's been 10 fucking years we've been hearing the same crap about strategies to couner gangs, and NOTHING is being done - When police move in and try to do something about it, people scream "RACISM" and fight back - when police don't do anything people complain. Someone did say yesterday that police are untrained to tell the difference between gangs and non gangs.............it's about time they get the training. What disgusts me is that people responsible for this riot were NOT all alleged gang members but some regular citizens, with no prior records, who were APPLAUDING the acts - acts against firemen, paramedics, etc. Whoever motherfuckers are responsible for this should get LIFE in jail, not just 24 hours in a jail cell like they do now....this is really pathetic, some parts of New York are safer now, at least THEY cleaned up their act, it is MUCH safer now in New York than it is Montreal.
You read the article and the administration is already back peddling for fear of hurting the rioter's feeling and infringing on their God given right to wreak havoc. It makes me sick. If you want to hang out in a group of punks who think they can swarm two cops who are authorized to use lethal force when necessary, then hair on ya, you f#@%ing idiot. You reap what you sow. If the riot had been caused by the police breaking the law, then it still doesn't matter - rioting is not the answer. These rioters are just people who have no respect for anything other than their own perceived wants or needs. IMHO.
