i had a fake smooth-polished wood desk... but it seems very epensive one... i seem have no problem with mouse... probably very hard to notice...

so do you really need a good mouse pad one...?

i alway concern about my wrist on the hard surface... luckily i dont have bad wrist...

If you have $10-15 to spare, why not? The mouse pad isn't really going to help your wrist, but it will:

A) Provide improved tracking
B) Prolong the use of your mouse's feet
C) Prevent scratches on your expensive desk
D) Combination of the above

I think there's also cheap $10 variations with a gel support for your wrist if that's your main concern.

I don't use a mouse pad, but I would like one of those cushion thingies for my arm.

It definitely beats resting your arm on the sharp edge of a desk.

I'm just using a future shop pad, got it for like $12, 4 years ago. mostly for the wrist support love it.
I still can't see a big difference on surfaces, but i can't go without wrist pads anymore after using one for so long.

To Learn Now Is To Teach Later, ^ love that :)

Ihave an over priced Destrucor mat

If you have arms on your chare rase them so your elbows are supported. :ph34r: urganomics

i will get one soon or later... >_>;

My desk is a small Kitchen table thats 29" tall so I get a nice hihgt fore me.
I palm rest on the mouse pad heal of my hand.
I haven't had that many problems even after 5 hr of gaming.
