Summary - some charts look good and some aspects are as well. Steve’s summary points seem spot on.

first iteration and the only one out there with Intel's Arc GPU. I look forward to seeing how the Arc iGPU holds up to the 760M and 780M though, especially as improvement often jumps double digits every time a new driver is released.

It is a first gen, but so is the Asus that performs much more consistently though the test suite.

Ultimately I think you hit the mark here. If you look at Intel arc GPU performance it has been and still is (to a lesser extent) all over the place. Ultimately that is the case here as well. The difference is arc gpus come at a discounted price that can be justified vs the competition. This comes with a price premium…that is the nail in the coffin without a serious price cut or performance fixes.
