Heya all here I'll post my Micro Soldering projects since I'm leaving the PC space until it unfks itself this is doable as I can still at least repair things parts are cheaper other then the high end microscopes


With that outs the wait first project is repairing a PS4 Controller that had dead thumb sticks since it was in the broken pile at work decided to repair for the psych unit.

Removed the broken ones now just awaiting the parts to arrive so I'm can solder it back together and then use the software to calibrate it. If this works out they got 3 more that could use some TLC it'll save them having to spend $100+ per controller.

I have this kind of project to do too (drifting thumb stick on xbox controller).

I need to just take the time to learn.

My father is good at repairing almost everything, because it was difficult to get anything in the pre internet era.

Next project I'm thinking of modding my og Xbox recapping it and the newest mod chip. Or whatever is available I have a Gameboy SP that needs the USB C - HDMI mod and shell replacement so it gets rid of the damaged screen but outputs through HDMI.
