Curious, is this more hobbyist i want to see if I can do this line of build? If you plan on running it 24/7 to achieve break-even in 5 years, is there not a chance of parts failure/obsolescence etc., before turning a profit? i.e., is there a possibility it may be a $$ sink? You mention you have cheap electricity, so that's good. It just seems like an awfully long time before you realize financial gain from the endeavour with several potential roadblocks to success?
Don't get me wrong, I'm a 'the glass is always full kind of person' and do love interesting projects, however, if the intent is to turn a profit with your $2000 it seems there may be better ways to put your cash to work is all.
