I don't know where else to post this.
I'm actually a bit lost, but I figured here is best I guess?
I got 15 years and 7months. I wanted more, I really did. She was fine one day, and then very much not fine the next. We spent 30 days trying to get her back, spent our savings trying. And it was not enough. It gave us another 13 days where my baby girl was back to her old self again, and then this past friday, exactly one month after the problems started, we lost her.
The house is a mess. Our other dogs are depessed.
I don't know how I come back from this. She was with me for everything.
It jjust feels so empty right now.

Very very sorry for you and your family's loss @Soultribunal They are such a huge part of our lives, especially when they've been with us for so long and through so much as you said. Non-pet people don't get it sometimes, but it is a huge loss and the pain is long lasting.
I pray that after a time the happy memories will start to soften the sadness, but there's no quick fix I'm aware of except the passing of time. Hang in there Sir.
So sorry to hear you have lost a loved one, Soul, it's so hard losing a family member hopefully time will lessen the pain and you can focus on all the good times you shared with her, hope the dogs will be ok but as we all know it takes time. best wishes and sorry for your loss
Condolences. Only time will dull the pain of loss.
I am sorry for your loss, I wish I had more to say but words aren't coming to me as they never live long enough yet they leave their marks on our lives forever.
Been thorugh that multiple times over and it is never easy and doesn't get any easier the next time it happens.
Let happy memories help you move forward, she would want you to carry on in her absence!

Happy thoughts of the good times and joy that you had during all those years together. As others have said, it doesn't make it easier and it is a terrible thing to go through, but the happiness animals bring as part of your family and the amazing life you provide for them are priceless. Take care.

Yeah, sorry to hear of this @Soultribunal , and although the words seems kind of hollow, at this point in time, what others have said is totally true, i.e. some time will dull the pain. I've had a couple of dogs, and several cats, over the years, that have had to go the same way, and although I still sadly remember how they went out, I DO fondly recall the good times we had together, along with some of their funny, endearing quirks that made them special.
