You can start Damn Small Linux from inside Windows as well. Or any distro using a virtual machine.

Exactly ! I find using virtualbox from sunmicro works great . It allows you to run another operating system from within windows . I have another pc that runs Ubuntu 8.04 and numerous other distros of Linux on virtualbox from within Ubuntu . That way I don't have to use the live cd method and you get all the features .

Well, you don't need virtualization to run it. You could run it off a USB...

Neat. Like Wubi but more integrated with the OS. I still prefer a full linux install :biggrin:

Sounds great & I'll have to give it a try.

I still though prefer installing a full OS under VirtualBox.
