You might of heard the news about how SK Hynix is paying an insane bonus to their worker because of DRAM and NAND price spike. Samsung worker looked at the SK Hynix deal and then say "I want some too". They weren't happy with what Samsung offered and planned a strike. Now Samsung got a court injunction against the workers' union but it's only partial block.

What the union wants:

• Remove bonus cap, use a fixed formula
• Set aside 15% of operational profit for performance based bonuses

Samsung offers:

• 10% operational profit + one time bonus

The injunction prevent the union from disrupting other workers and take over buildings. It's estimated an one day shutdown of Samsung semiconductor factory is $667M USD.
