Very, very simple. If you do mine with them, don't forget to get the vBIOS optimized first. A lot of the AMD GPUs, the timings are a mess.

It's simple to start mining. It's not simple to adjust the settings to find the best hash rate.

And that's a special custom BIOS you are talking about. They should be tested at stock, if at all.

What do you mean tested at stock? I've tested mine at both stock and overclock speeds before and after optimization. Gives a good ~50Kh/s boost for me.

With a stock vBIOS, as they come out of the box. And the customized vBIOS from the source you're talking about had no effect on hash rates on my R9 280x but it was already getting near the max rates I've seen reported.

If SKYMTL does decide to do a scrypt mining benchmark, I'd rather they be tested as is out of the box with no customizations or options at all.

Maybe yours was already properly optimized from the manufacturer? He did say some of the vBIOS he got were already perfect or near perfect..
