Yeh I think that's the issue adop; I might have bought this thing myself, these water blocks are version specific and there's no way to really know if it's gonna work until you try. I googled this water block and found some nasty bits of info that turned me off this sale. Charlie informed me that it is quite common to ruin a vid card due to contact with pcb's etc. The difference between my 285 and the one my buddy was JUST sent as a replacement for his 280 are night and day.
