SPARTAN RACE Obstacle Racing - Spartan Sprint & Super Spartan obstacle course trail races and the Spartan Beast and Death Race endurance race

Has anyone ever entered one of those? (Spartan race, Tough mudder..)

I registered with some coworkers and friends for the Spartan Sprint (5km, only event available here), can't wait to do it. It's on June 2nd 2013 so I got plenty more time to work out. I already bike on a daily basis, I run a few times a weeks as well as basic muscular training (don't want to gain much mass though..). I might step up a bit, but I think I'm on a good track.

It seems like a nice objective for anyone who's struggling to start a training program.

My next challenge probably would be the Super spartan (13Km) or any other obstacle race of similar length( 10-15km)
 
A few of my brothers have a team that they do those competitions with.. I may be going to the one in August that's north of Barrie.

I started jogging 1k every morning about a month ago and I can't believe the difference its made.
 
My girlfriend and I did the Spartan Sprint last year in Saint Sauveur. We'll be doing the Super Spartan next year when it comes to Mont Tremblant. It is hugely fun but be prepared to take a few days off work afterwards to recuperate. We were bruised and battered, that's for sure.
