Striking actors have voted to expand their walkout to include the lucrative video game market, a step that could put new pressure on Hollywood studios to make a deal with the performers who provide voices and stunts for games.

The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Radio and Television Artists announced the move late Monday, saying that 98 per cent of its members voted to go on strike against video game companies if ongoing negotiations are not successful. The announcement came ahead of more talks planned for Tuesday.

/me sees all the lawsuits of voice actors suing because the AI generated voices have their 'likeness'...
Once digitized, it's all immortal (like corporations) not like the mortal human artists.
It's also a question of who holds the copyright & how & who can use it. There was an interesting case of an artist who printed out an AI generated image & won top prize in an art show. He tried to get it copyrighted but was overturned by a judge. However, Hollywood has deep pockets and a lot of political clout; hard to tell if that will hold true in the future or if it will be overturned. As an excellent example of copyright extension - Disney Corp supported a lot of US politicians and viola the about to expire copyright on Mickey Mouse was extended... If it had expired, Mickey would have been in the public domain and anyone could use it. The Steamboat Willie version of Mickey may expire 2024 - an election year.

The same is true for 3D digitized actors.

And now this from AI voices...

"Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt used AI to replace a deceased voice actor after gaining permission from the family.

Miłogost Reczek was a Polish voice actor best known as the Polish dub for Homer Simpson in The Simpsons Movie, as well as Vesemir and Thaler in The Witcher games and doctor Viktor Vektor in Cyberpunk 2077. He died in December 2021 aged 60."
