Actually... it wasn't that bad price wise. Only about $5k.
You could build one twice the size (literally with 2TB drives) for about the same price. Damn hardware pricing dropping like stones.


That's the only flaw I see with your plan.... When in 12 -24 months they start selling 25 TB SSDs for $300 lol.

Other than that... That setup is awesome!!!

Nope.
Phase 2 kind of fell through when most retailers dropped the WD20EADS.
It seems to be back, but I'm afraid of a new batch.

I'll have to order a test unit to see if WDIDLE and WDTLER still work.
If it does, next stop 50TB!
