The AMD R9 Fury X Review; Fiji Arrives. Comment Thread

For the record, AMD hasn't unlocked the voltage. Neither have board partners.

true but they found a way to at-least increase it.

For those who already took the Fury(x) plunge and now own one it may help.

But as said 2 posts back if your still on the fence id probably sit this gen out.

-----

One of the main things to remember here is currently the 980TI in the same(similar) price range is too good to not chose it over the fury-x considering the easy oc headroom also its just a better card overall.

perhaps AMD can leverage some more performance from drivers for those who already own one , maybe like the 290x it will pull ahead later on but currently its not a safe bet at all.

I wont be selling any of my customers a fury/x unless they demand it tbh.

And i can be quite a AMD fan in my own right lol.

Well you ordered when it was $699 at Amazon... I'm not surprised they haven't gotten more stock in to fulfill your order. I don't think they ever will, unless the CAD recovers

I'm curious, has the performance improved at all on these cards? If not, then I don't understand why they are still priced at 980 Ti levels.
