I can't believe they're still using leaf springs in the rear suspension, and a PUSHROD V8. I mean, come on, are we still in the 1970's?
Because they work.
And work great. I hate the new ( well old I guess) timing belts lol what the hell is with that crap they heat up and stretch and then the computer has to try and retune everything. the older cars that never ever happened. there is only one thing I like about the newer tech on cars and that is more efficient cleaner fuel and exhaust other then that I really don't like most things. there are so many things on newer cars ,which to me means every single vehical that comes with a computer, that I think is unnecessary like electric windows auto remote start, voice activation things . I spent more times banging on the inner sides of doors to get a customers window to close then actually fixing the things.
The one most distinguishable feature about EVERY corvette except the older ones was the round tailights on the back. With that gone it simply doesn't feel like a corvette and looks like a re-badged camaro
