My LG has the same, great for when I am installing OS's and prepping them for friends builds on other machines and dont want to bother unhooking a monitor for it

That's exactly what I do. One monitor is aways doing double duty

Well, most of the screen with dual conector have it. Even the new samsung screen, can't remember the model which only have a DVI input have this option in screen menu. Don't really know why.
