Watercooling build Help

Another question, What type of fans should I use for the rad? some good brands? if I get a triple rad, could i go with some quieter fans with lower CFM? or do i want some hefty power from the fans?

Good Radiator Fan Brands (From my reading):
Scythe S-Flex and Gentle Typhoons (The Tyhpoons seem to be a fav for most)
Yate Loons
Noiseblockers (Expensive)
Noctula
Deltas (High Speed)
Enermax
Geild

I bought 3xS-Flex for my rad and I also bought a Lamptron FC5 Fan controller to help with the noise. I decided to go High Speed fans (1900RPM) with a fan controller so I can have silence or performance.

I see some builds that cool the mosfets and such, is that worthwhile or won't be affected very much? where would you put the reservoir in the case? any areas better than others?

I use a full board bloc for the mosfet and the chipset of the motherboard. because I plan to push my I7-750 at 4,5 ghz .

now for the case ...have a serious look at the obsidian, what I like most is the hot swap for the drive, and the push button to open the case. the triple fezer will fit without modification on the top. It's the most easy case to deal with the cable too, even an extension for the 12v eps is include.

Thanks for the help guys, I really like that corsair case. And it looks like i have a lot of options with the fans. good to know.

Any advice for a fan controller? any certain specs I want to look for? Watts and such? Some fans can be daisy chained together which would be on one channel, what controllers can handle more than one fan on a single channel?

I don't think there is a big performance difference when you cool the mofset. I think the rule for the res is that it must feed the pump. Most builds have it mounted somewhere around the hard drive bays.

I have a EK Full Board Block and it makes a lot of difference in temps.

From 71C to 35C

Sorry I mean in terms of overclocking and those are some wicked temps. I was always under the impression that the unless your pushing your I7 well over 4Ghz the mofset cooling was more for aesthetics/noise than for performance.

For fan controllers, I bought a Lamptron FC-4 fan controller but had to return it due to it making a high pitched squeal. I original had a Sunbeam Rhebous Extreme (Loved this fan controller) but I sold it to replace with the Lamptron FC4. I have now purchased the Lamptron FC5 but I have yet to install it so I am not sure if the squeal is still there or not.

I like the Sunbeam/Lamptron because they offer high wattage per channel meaning you can run multiple fans off a single channel.
