Ah, yes we use the Motorola and Pace devices here (Pace having bought 2Wire). Previously I had run my STB's through unmannaged non IGMP snooping switches. I'm hoping that by using an IGMP snooping switch I'll avoid the problem.

If that doesn't work, or I encounter problems I can always bypass the managed switch all together an install a simple 5 port GigE switch on the rack exclusivly for the IPTV traffic.
