Most of the people in the stands are scouts and employees from the two teams. I doubt more than 10 people actually paid to get into the game.

and pathetic at the same time. lol

not to mention it's the Panthers, same team that had trouble selling out playoff tickets like 3 seasons ago I think lol!
 
This year the exhibition games are a being scheduled differently all over the league. There's a lot more split-team schedules than I've seen before. The Canucks have two games vs SJ tonight, and they overlap each other in timing. One game in Van @ 6 and One game in SJ @ 7:30. I was reading up that the awkward schedules were related to scheduling appropriate preseason games within the new conference structure, but who knows.
 
BUT DONT WORRY. DONT BRING ANOTHER TEAM TO TORONTO.

The NHL doesn't care about Canada.... they can take for granted, that the support is there. They want to hype and build the U.S. market, which they are endlessly trying to do despite the lack of interest.
