Would my 550w cut it?

Hi all,

I have a FSP 550w that runs these components:
E5200 overclocked (1.4v)
3 hard drives
6 fans

I will soon (hopefully) be buying a 4890 off of someone from the forums and was wondering if my psu will be able to run it. I don't think I'll overclock it since it will be sufficient for my gaming needs at stock.

Thanks

It should be enough. What are it's ratings for it's 12v line(s)?

To expand on my previous statement, it is enough, but you'd be better off with a higher-quality PSU.
FSP is a pretty good brand. I believe many name-brand PSUs use FSP as a basis or something like that.

@OP. Ya it's enough.

FSP's lower-wattage units are generally pretty decent. On the higher-wattage side of things, their products range from decent to outright bad. As for the OP's unit, it's a pretty cheap model, so although it's probably still decent, it's also nothing particularly great.
