I got it on boxing day out of NCIX Burnaby. Waited 30 minutes outside on the lineup . The total was 189 (before tax) but with the LCD I got the price went down 20 bucks so I apply the difference to the video card. Ended up costing 194 with my own money:thumb:

Flashed to Asus bios for voltage control up to 1.4v. Clocks are at 1040/1400. Here is 3dmark Vantage score

You looked like a little kid opening his first Christmas present :)

Btw, Is the stock 5770 cooler loud?

at 40% it's basically as quiet as Lian Li 140mm fans. 100% it's roaring though. Fun to scare people.

wouldnt it be dx.10?

i have the same card just with stock bios running 960/1400

tell me, since u flashed it, does it retain the function of while idle dropping the core and mem frequencies to very low?
i think thats powerplay but im unsure.

yeah If I wanted to play Dirt 2 @ DX9. No thanks:thumb:

I must say I am utterly pleased with DiRT 2 running @ DX9 (yes it is DX9), its simply gorgeous. Depending on the resolution you play at, I prefer to have more FPS, specially when the loss is barely (if at all) noticeable in real time situation. If you want, have a look at this review of DiRT 2 and comparing DX9 with DX11, I know its Toms, but I find it interesting: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/dirt-2-performance-benchmark,2508.html

And I agree, you were quite daring in your choice of music.
