makes me really suspicious of their RTX 4070 performance claims...120w for CPU / IGPU vs. 220w for just a GPU? mmm...yeah, no.120watts? Dam! Definitely hoping to get an unrestricted version with the option for a real cpu cooler then!

If I recall correctly they openly showed the comparison models. I believe it was a mobile 4070 running at the bottom of its configurable TDP range (but the dedicated CPU/GPU were using similar or more power than the new AMD chip). They didn't hide that fact at all, its just that most resharing of the information is not stating it.makes me really suspicious of their RTX 4070 performance claims...120w for CPU / IGPU vs. 220w for just a GPU? mmm...yeah, no.
let's hope the test results can be recreated once platforms with the CPU are available for purchase. it's going to have amazing performance as an iGPU, so even if it is only as fast as, say an RTX 3600, there's going to be a lot of happy people out there, me one of them. alas...I fear the cost; if the AI 9 Max+ turns out as powerful as its potential indicates, these are going to be expensive. If I recall correctly they openly showed the comparison models. I suspect that'll be what it be in USD...because the ITX board with the top end 7945HX was $650, now between $400 - $500, depending on the board you want.Yeah, that's why I'm still uncertain about the whole APU PC build idea right now: cost. If an 8700G still costs around $400, and mobos getting more and more expensive... if there ever is an ITX board with an embedded new AI Max -whatever CPU, I fear it'll cost like $1000 or more. I hope it doesn't, because that's ridiculous, but sadly wouldn't be too surprised if it was in that ballpark. So if that's the price, I may just cancel the build or maybe try 8700G and see what OCing + fast RAM performance I can get out it in a tiny form factor.

LPCAMM2 can be configured in dual channel memory mode, so they will be available as 2x 16GB for 32GB total. I also think a system that uses LPCAMM2 only has one LPCAMM2 board, so it's likely most of them will be configured in dual channel mode.I saw another little tidbit in that LPCAMM2 modules only come in 32GB and 64GB, so that means to get dual channel performance you're looking at the "minimum" RAM being 64GB on these too. It looks like the Crucial 32GB module's MSRP is $180USD, so possibly in the realm of $520CAD for RAM on such a build...
Yeah that's what I understood as well.LPCAMM2 can be configured in dual channel memory mode, so they will be available as 2x 16GB for 32GB total. I also think a system that uses LPCAMM2 only has one LPCAMM2 board, so it's likely most of them will be configured in dual channel mode.
