Whats your latest purchase?

Pretty sure it has to be made in Kentucky.
Bourbon has to be made in Kentucky with water from only a few chosen sources, to be called Bourbon. it's the same with Scotch, it can only be called that if its from Scotland, otherwise its usually referred to as a single malt whiskey. same as Rye...it can only be called Rye if made in Canada, which is why the US is full of 'Canadian Whiskey', which is made from rye.

Some rear brake pads for the family car, and front pads and rotors for the second car.

This part is more rant: I really want to buy in Canada, but even with shipping heavy rotors, it is still way cheaper to buy from rockauto (I will only buy fully coated rotors for life in NS). I checked everywhere local and parts avatar and it was going to be nearly 50% more $ here. A few bucks more and I would buy here, but that's crazy. When I was browsing options one of the options was actually made in Canada (can't remember which off hand), but it was still cheaper to buy it from rockauto...come on.

Ford Dealerships have a live of products called Omnicraft. It is nothing but non-ford parts for super common consumables such as rotors and pads. So my Nissan Frontier is running around with coated rotors and pads that I bought from my nearby Ford dealer. (They are/were priced compeditivly). That is at least Ford Canada though not sure where the parts themselves are made.

Also https://www.thewrenchmonkey.ca/ can sometimes be more competitive for Canadian retailer for online purchases, found some parts cheaper there than rock auto.

Doesn't need to be made in Kentucky;

"Although bourbon may be made anywhere in the U.S, it is strongly associated with the Southern United States, particularly Kentucky."

Yeah it's US only, but not locked to Kentucky. Although Kentucky is the birthplace, it's not exclusive...

"To be classified as bourbon whiskey, a spirit must meet specific requirements: it must be made and aged in the United States, be derived from a mash with at least 51% corn, be distilled to a proof no higher than 160 (80% ABV), aged in new charred oak barrels, and bottled at a minimum of 80 proof (40% ABV). No flavorings or colorings can be added."

Although it's not a 'trademark' thing internationally, it is very much like scotch. You get a bad view in the liquor community if you abscond the name. But that doesn't stop others from imitating the product. Japan's version of 'scotch', for example, is very good. For that matter, Tasmania has a surprising scotch community and some incredible distilleries. I was fortunate enough to try some while in Australia and was blown away.

Waiting for my 7900xtx to arrive and hoping, but I am sure that it won't, fit in my case if not I will be spending time pulling everything and installing it all in my newer large case, if it's only a few mm I may do my best to make some room, also hoping I can find the vid card extra cables somewhere for my PSU

I was surprised how wide (between board and side panel) mine was more so than any other direction.

Width or height?
Its long enough it is resting on my pump block, not really any thicker than any other GPU of its type, but the width I had to get 180 power adapter to get it to fit with the side panel on. Side panel wouldn't fit with the wires coming out. I started with some cheap amazon adapters but the quality concerned me. Picked up a thermal grizzly wire view adapter instead.

(I think it was this one)
