New expansion coming 2027. I really doubted the expansion rumours that were floating around 6 months ago. They claimed that projected revenue for 2026 was unusually high considering no games were projected to be released. But this is a 2027 launch. So makes the main point moot.

Saw that this morning on reddit.

I'm curious what it'll be. Blood & Wine seemed like a perfect swan song for Geralt, so it's hard to say what they'd do with him. Maybe it's the rumored 'Ciri' chapter to link W3 and W4, which I'd be less excited about as I found the Ciri sections less fun in W3 due to her gameplay style (but if she's going full Witcher in 4, maybe they'll flesh her out significantly which will fix that).

They're calling it an expansion pack though so I'm guessing it's a substantial amount of content if B&W or CP2077 PL are anything to go by.

Still wish we had a 'make your own Witcher' game a la 'Mass Effect' or 'Dragon Age' for the next one, but I'm always happy for more CDPR gaming.
