How did you manage to clean that up so well?
I used a air compressor and tooth picks and Q-tips to get in to some to the heat fins and tight spots. After the cloud of dust settled I had to blow my self off .It only took about 10 min,the PC is old and my mom thought she could smell something burning so i just wanted to get most of it.She cant smell anything anymore:thumb:
 
How did you manage to clean that up so well?

Not the same "tools" as the OP used, but I've had the best results with a shaving cream brush (for foaming up the old shaving "soap" blocks).

It's small enough to get into most of the tight spots, and the bristles are stiff enough to make short work of caked on dust/crud.
