I put 1 drop in 1 liter of water. It's almost an ''homeomagic'' concentration, huh I mean homeopathic... 8 drops in 4 liters of distilled water won't affect the ''color'' of the water.

True Silver? Yes. Shining Silver? no

Back when I worked in a Lab Type 3 Water + Copper/Aluminum substrate added (After all Nature hates a vaccum) and that would suffice. Biggest thing in cooling loops that you still get with store purchased distilled water is the Salt Mineral Content. Salt + Water + Metal = Bad combination.

De-Mineralized water is best.

They both do the same thing. Ethylene Glycol, or Antifreeze takes care of corrosion

LOL! I know. I'm french, so I'm sorry about the spelling errors... I'm also a biochemist with a minor in chemistry, and also a pharmacist. So I know a little bit about ''homeopathy''. :haha:

A question for all you guys using glycol and glycol based fluids (ethylene and propylene, which of course will include anyone using antifreeze and apparently most of the store bought pre-mixtures):

Do you guys have any acrylic in your loops?

Right, I just see alot of people saying they use Glycol based additives and alcohols are supposed to kill acrylic something fierce. I was surprised seeing all the Glycol users, and was wondering if either using alcohol additives was alright or if everyone had loops with out reservoirs (T lines or some odd material res).
