So I upgrade my Internet and Bell changed my modem, I went from a Hub 2000 to a Hub 3000. Since I've changed my modem none of my port forward seems to be working. I don't know what to do. I didn't have any issue with my Hub 2000 and I definitely know how to port forward, it just doesn't work. Anyone else with the same issue? I don't know to call Bell because the few times I called their support they were utterly useless.

I would suggest posting on their Direct Forum on DSLR: https://www.dslreports.com/forum/sympatdirect. The reps that monitor it are far more technical and helpful. They should be able to help you out or push the latest firmware to your modem to (hopefully) resolve it.

However, if you do have your own router, setting up a PPPoE connection on it to bypass the HH3000 isn't overly difficult, that's how I run mine and haven't had any issues.

Are you doing their IPTV as well as internet? It's been a while since I looked but that was what made things difficult in the past.

I apologise for this bit of off topic I didn't realise that hubs needed to be port forwarded I always thought that it was the firewall you needed to use to do that .

"Hub" is the name of Bell's modem/router for fibre  Home Hub 3000. So it isn't just a hub, but brilliant use of terms on their end to confuse folks some more. This is the unit: https://aliant.bell.ca/Bell_Internet/WiFi

I have issue with port forwarding on mine too. Haven't resolved it yet. I have their TV as well so my understanding was that bypassing the unit when getting their TV isn't easy? Maybe that is incorrect info.
