Asus 20th anniversary motherboard

Hmmm good point, Dark Hero is listed at $950 to $980 from PC Part Picker. If it's $100 CAD more, it's not too far fetch. Looking at the board layout for both, I don't think there's any hardware difference. But until someone reviews it and confirm the difference, hard to say.
Der Bauer has a video, in it he says it’s the same underneath. This board is based on the dark hero.

The screen looks like it is bloody pointless though. Moment you install a GPU screen will be covered... otherwise I kind of want it.

As the person who actually owned the original ROG board - f*ck that. Spending $1,000+ on a board just for the memory is a tough sell these days.
For most of us here, yes probably but if people will fork over money for the gold Dhahab OC Edition there will be people willing for fork over money for this. Looking at PC Parts Picker, I see MSI Godlike is even more expensive at $1.4K while the Max edition is $1.8K. The cheapest X870E is a MSI Pro X870E-P WIFI at $280. Darkwood was $700 but soldout, the White Wood is $730.

Looking at the Dark Hero review from TPU, it's close to chart topping but the performance you get from a board half the price is very close.
