I did miss that, thankyou. I recently repasted my 212 so I added the second fan for shits and giggles. That review got me thinking: if you don't run both fans at the same speed could you be shooting yourself in the foot by not being as efficient.

That would be something to experiment with and prove for yourself if you have a couple of fan headers available. If you run the tests, please post up your results. Cheers!

that doesn’t answer my question tho gentlemen. cooler comes with a second bracket for another fan. I want my extra degree lower performance!

I tried this on a noctua, it acutally ended up as louder with an additional fan at lower RPM's due to the design of the heatsink. Likely would be the same and a waste of effort. I used high end a12 fans from noctua as well, not some garbage tier ones.
