You need to filter by Newegg only. You cant go by aftermarket scalpers.Thats literally what I was saying. Nvidia should be forced to adjust their price to make the 4080 more appealing. I'm glad AMD has something to offer.

Thank you.Newegg has extremely inflated prices, Memory Express, Canada Computers, even Best Buy are more reasonable.
The reference AMD card seems to run a bit loud, so I'm not sure if people would want that. That's the only place where the ~$300 price gap exists. All the non-reference XTX cards look to approach/match 4080 pricing, at which point I'm not sure why anyone would pick AMD over NVIDIA.
If it all boils down to drivers, which I think even the 6900 faced, AMD really should have just held their release until Q1 2023 and sorted it out. To me this launch looks overhyped and underdelivered.
Why are you eliminating all of the options that are on the lower end price wise? There are a few under $1700. Is it because they are out of stock? Because so are the AMD cards.
We can both agree the cards are overpriced. I too am hoping they will come down. I wish I didnt sell my 3080ti.Well one just launched and the other has been out for almost a month. We'll see how AMD does with supply.
