Just a heads up there's a new AGESA update that I seen on ASUS's website for my X870E ProArt mobo on the 5th and just thought I would mention it to anyone who wants to stay update.

They don't list anything on their site what it fix's other then a few bugs,I know that with my mobo if I had the 3 fans in the upper part of my case plugged into the CPU OPT Header and the 2 Noctua fans for my Air Cooler plugged into the CPU Header it would only show the CPU OPT and the CPU Fans in the bios and in Armoury Crate but the Noctua's would only spool up the slower speed or the 3 Upper Case fan's.

I fixed that problem before this bios update by plugging the 3 upper fan's tri-harness into a rear case fan header and the Noctua's into the CPU header.

I reader somewhere else this update is supposed to fix a fan bug and also add more memory support as well.

Fingers crossed... I didn't do a bios update when I got this board but just did the update to 0706 something from 02 something so hopefully it helps with the stability issues I've been having.

On a positive note.... looks like it got me about 100 points in cinebench multi. :)

What mobo and what problems have you been having,I know every youtuber I watched all said that they used Corsair Ram and had problems and that was with the last gen AMD CPU's.

I know that one smaller channel the guy said that he used Corsair Ram and he gave up on his new PC and went back to his old and a year later found out about using Ram by G.Skill or Team Group and others that use Hynix memory and that cured his problem right away.

That wasn't just one guy that I seen say that it was 5 or 6 guys that said that,I never did an AMD build other then one before my X870E build that I just did and with this kind of stuff I like to research every single bit of stuff I can for at least months to find out what people are saying as well, and I know the Ram thing was the biggest with AMD that I seen.

Strix X870E-E (in my sig) paired with teamgroup.

I've been having stability issues that seem centered around file manipulation. Haven't noticed any issues since I did the bios (and firmware) update so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm also not convinced that it's not related to Asus's background "ai tuning" crap that I'm not completely sure is disabled in the bios. (they don't exactly make it clear).

Still running well with the latest agesa?

Having some issues with the intel 225-v in the Hero. Thinking of ordering the 870e-e as it has the realtek nic in it (plus it's 5ghz vs 2.5).

I haven't noticed any issues over the last couple of days, but then again I haven't been on the PC all that much either. :)

It is entirely possible that the issues I was having were related to having such an early bios version on this board.

Right on, I hope that cleared it up for you.

I'm returning this one to memx and ordered the 870e-e from amazon as it's ~$70 cheaper.

I had problems to with my Intel 225-v I didn't know that it is a known pile of crap, what was happening with mine was it ran perfectly after the first installation of Windows 11 and then I had problems with iTunes tried everything Apple suggested to fix my problem with iTunes and then they said they thought I needed to install Windows again and that didn't work.

After my second installation of Windows I started having problems with the intel 225-v where it would just turn off and I would have to go into device manager disable it and then reenable it and it would just keep acting up.

I found out threw a bunch of research that the chip itself isn't crap it's a design problem and it's been know for 4 or 5 years and yet company's still keep using it.

I tried using the ASUS installer for the intel 225-v to uninstall the driver then reinstall it but on my ASUS X870E ProArt the ASUS driver just won't run again once the driver has been installed, and the Intel one I think installed it again but it didn't work I forget if it just does an install again without uninstalling it or what it was but I don't think I was able to uninstall it either.

Thankfully my mobo has a Marvell controller as well so I used that and I also got this PCI-e card off aliexpress for 16 bucks because it has a Realtek controller and I have never had any strange problems with any Realtek chip.

If you want one of these cards in the link and your mobo only has long PCI-e also and no short ones you can still stick this card into the end of a long PCI-e slot that a graphic's card use's and it will work fine,I know you most likely know that but I know guys who have built their owns PC's and been computing for close to 40 years and don't know that.

I know for me I got the ASUS ProArt mobo just because it has 3 slots and I like to run a front panel which means I need a slot for that and I wanted a spare slot just incase my Lan controller ever burnt out,I have been lucky I have never had a Lan controller or GPU burn out on me but I have seen where lots have and I would hate to have to buy a new mobo if a card can fix a burnt out Lan controller problem,I was looking at a few other mobo's ASUS makes that were cheaper but they didn't have the any extra PCI-e slots or if they did it was just 1 extra one and I wanted 1 for the GPU and 2 spares.
