One of the coolest things I've seen lately....

Edit: We learned this stuff in physics class, but it's something else to see it.
All this keyboard stuff bringing back memories. A lot of key pounding on the original Model F PC/XT was done, but I really came to love the PC/AT version, with the big Enter key. I know many will disagree, but this is just my experience.
Edit: whoops!..wrong sub forum..
The Silo effect maybe? The police in our town seem to be overwhelmed with the drug trade, and street people problem. There is very little traffic/vehicle related enforcement (with some occasional exceptions.)
"Get crazy with the cheez whiz"...(Beck...it was a good one...)
Generally you want as little as possible for full coverage. The idea is to maintain as much metal to metal contact as possible.
Dot in the middle, or line along the silicon under the IHS for me.
They knew those dune structures were going to be a problem. It's a wonder it managed to stay upright touching down on that slope at 1 m/s. Maybe a leg or two was driven into the sand. It's unfortunate, as it most likely could have continued flying for some time. Maybe until the next Martian...
After 72 flights the little helicopter is done. It was a great mission.
Some blade damage occurred during the last landing. It is still upright on the surface and communicating.

I watched the video, and the thing that stood out for me was the scheduled for later texting bit in Android. That seems perfectly reasonable to be able jot down a note to someone when you think of it, but not actually send it until a more appropriate time. Maybe this is available in the Apple...
Agree with @crazyea on the litter. We use Arm & Hammer Slide multi cat, which is pretty much odourless and very low dust.
Also agree Feliway is lower on the list of things to do/try for an indoor problem.
We have used Feliway with some success, but mostly for outside interlopers around the doorways. The important bit is to eliminate the odour to the cat's nose by whatever means necessary. Vinegar or peroxide, baking soda combinations. The odour will trigger them to repeat the offense in the...
Lot's of purry furry's there @crazyea. Kinda' reminds me of "The Trouble With Tribbles" episode of Star Trek.
Edit: We love our purry furry's..just to be clear.
One of our guys was fine for years and then not fine due to interlopers in the yard. It's part of the deal I guess. He did go back to fine after a bit.
Edit: One of the challenges of cat hosting.
All the good memories are still there. The end just seems to dominate like a black hole for some reason. I guess it's just life. Maybe a time passing thing, bringing perspective and peace.
Yeah...I've been following this thread too. I'm glad you folks are enjoying the little blighters. We lost a couple in the last year and a bit, and I miss them every day. We have one remaining, but I'm not sure he would tolerate a new addition without a huge conflict.
They have their own...
