Palit HD4870 X2 Review Comment Thread

Reply Ooh I see the difference now...:haha: When you take a skimping look across the reviews, you automatically think that the GTX280 is down below on the second. Interesting results in COD4, almost double the framerates. Too bad this has almost no overclocking potential and it's friggin warm...

Palit HD4870 X2 Review Comment Thread

Reply Wow the results weren't all that good... IMHO, kinda overhyped... But the review is definitely awesome, hope there's a HD4850X2 with a black PCB being released.:thumb: I think I could really consider that. Well once again, SKY never seizes to amaze...:thumb:

Help with appling a TRUE 120

Reply I've heard it before, many TRUE owners have trouble with temps because the base is not flat enough. Lapping is a must in this case. :bleh: Thermalright doesn't have "flat" in it's vocabulary.:haha:

For those who think Noctua's are worth $20...

Reply I agree with MpG, Vapor in fact did use PTS Yate Loons. Those are supposedly better than ANY other Yates out there. But for slightly more noise, the Scythe S-Flex's are better IMHO. Plus they're $9 cheaper, multiply that by 4 case fans needed and you save $36. That's enough to buy a...

    best setting ofr a MCP655

Reply Perhaps there are some air bubbles in your loop near your pump. That's just a thought though...Or maybe your pump is causing vibrations to the case, therefore causing noise.

    Tubing and Tube Coils

Reply What's the difference between 1/2 and 5/8"? Would 5/8" give a tighter seal?:help: EDIT: I was looking at Primochill Black Tubing and was wondering which was better. 1/2" and 3/4"OD or 3/8" and 5/8"?

    Tubing and Tube Coils

Reply I knew it! If Linus, Apollo4g, and this "Navanod" dude confirmed it, so it's got to be real.:thumb: At first I didn't believe in the hype either, I remember Linus spamming the word awesome.:haha: But then I say the price and that's when I knew it was worth it, and the story goes...

    Tubing and Tube Coils

Reply What are you talking about???:shok: Primochill has excellent tubing, It's even more flexible than Tygon and twice as good for value!:thumb: Primochill has to be my favorite tubing out there for 1/2", plus it's Linus and Apollo4g approved. So you know it's good...

    Tubing and Tube Coils

Reply 1/2" FTW! But most Primochill products are fairly decent. By the looks of it the tubing coils look to be too, but I just have to say that as long as you don't flex them too much they should be fine. Also if you really want 7/16" tubing, I'd go with MasterKleer hands down. Bends...

anyone heard of this cpu cooler?

Reply Yeah, I agree with most of you. The Tuniq is a great cooler but it just can't stack up to the newer and better coolers now. Just a few months ago, it was considered the 2nd best cooler out there behind the TRUE. But then came along the innovation of H.D.T...

    TJ-07 dual loop help....

Reply I believe it would be a bad idea because then the heat in the liquid from the first loop would blend with the other loop's liquid. I would advise that you keep the Swiftech MCRES-MICRO, hide it somewhere in the case and use it for one of the loops. If you want the EK Multi-Option 250 buy...
