Next build for me will either be the DFI p45 Jr. Board (renewing my e6550)or the DFI 790GX MATX board (Probably a x4 45nm Phenom, if it can stay under $250 and perform decently). Although I'd would wait to see how Nahlem and Deneb turns out, deciding on a case early doesn't hurt :D

My preference: shorter the better, that's why I'm not choosing the matx towers.
should be able to fit a 4850 or 4870.
Few cases i thought of so far.

Thermaltake LANBOX Lite
Newegg.com - Thermaltake LANBOX Lite VF6000BNS Black SECC Gaming Cube Computer Case - Computer Cases
Decent MATX gaming case, side vents for videocard inhale fresh air.
Probably i find with this is cuz the back is the amount of fans. its nice cuz it has airflow, bad cuz of the noise, 3 small fans or 1 big fan? hmm...

LIAN LI PC-V350B

Bland but effective, i like the 2x 120mm fans w/ 1x80mm fan. Will this fit a 4870 or even a 4850?

Antec NSK1380

Decent for the money.

NZXT ROGUE Crafted Series
Newegg.com - NZXT ROGUE Crafted Series BLACK ROGUE w. RED LED Black Aluminum MicroATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases
Very flashy and nice, i'm leaning towards this case right now.

SILVERSTONE SUGO SG02B-F

So far money is not an object, i'm just looking for ideas and recommendations, even a recommend a good case mod on a specific case. I'm in Canada anyway, newegg is just a reference, i love how they show all the specs and pics and everything, their coming to Canada as well :D

anyways, any ideas? Also a mentioning a decent smaller cooler would be helpful, since my huge azz Scythe Infinity won't fit.

Doesn't want a tower.

I've heard good things about the Lanbox line, and from my opinion, they seem like the best option.

Lian-Li has issues with fan heatsinks and a whole crap load of other stuff.. read reviews the case isn't that great.

NCIX.com - Buy Antec Mini P180 mATX Black Aluminum Case 3X5.25 1X3.5 5X3.5INT No PS - Mini P180 In Canada.

go for that.. much nicer.

i seen some very nice deals on that case in redflagdeals. Good but i like the short fatness of these cases

found this useful site for lowprofile coolers.
who knew stock cooler is better than the ninja mini?

on another forum, i found out the rouge would be able to fit a 9800GTX and a big cooler as well so i'm leaning towards that. They also said Lian Li would have some trouble fitting in big cards etc.

So the lanbox, it looks really nice and vents are good, but how would it different from say:
this
Ultra Products - MicroFly Micro ATX Case - Silver w/ Clear Side and with holes or vents or a fan or w/e drill put on the side and top.
The lan box has a 90mm intake, with 3 60mm fans for outtake
Microfly however has a 80mm intake with 120mm outtake.
does the lanbox really live up to its name?

any additional input would be awesome.

Those MicroFly cases got good reviews for usability but I pawed one in the Tiger Direct store and it was really really flimsy. I got the feeling it would bend if I put too many beer bottles on top of it.

If price is not an option what about the fancy HTPC cases from the Silverstone Crown series. You can get a text or graphics display for keen gear factor.

Pick the siverstone sugo:thumb: Will fit up to a 12" graphics card + atx psu. The Tt lan box is very tight quarters and would definately not fit that size of graphics card. Also if I'm not mistaken(correct me if I'm wrong) but it is the case falcon northwest uses for their fragbox. Just my two cents.
