Still a very novice overclocker, I have allot to learn but this is my result. :thumb:

You maybe able to get that 480 up to 825 / 1980 - 2000.....then OC that I7 to around 4 - 4.2 and give it a go....set your goal for P26K...have fun!!!

Cool, thanks for the tip. As I have said I am still pretty new to OC and don't want to damage my hardware haha. Don't have the confidence most of you guys would have. :haha:

Thought I would add my new results here rather than making a new post, still not 4.2GHz but 3.4GHz and 825MHz* I believe.. Slowly but surely ill be at 4GHz soon enough. :biggrin:

Nice score, I think it's because this is just a casual 'post your scores' kind of thread, there is no Top 10 list or anything.

Anyway I achieved my set goal last night but was too tired to post but here it is:

:clap: Still not even 4GHz+ but I found I didn't need to for 26K going for a higher score but I think thats as high as I can get my GPU.

Pretty happy, this is my highest score so far thanks for the goal Rjbarker :thumb:

Well, I got sick of my display failures with my 5870, grey screen of death, RMA'd my card and while waiting borrowed a GTX 470. Here are the results... and I'll be damned if I can see a difference in the benchmarks or game play.... and that's on an i5 750 @ 4.2GHz.

This was after spending 20mins overclocking the gpu I am impressed at what this card has done so far didn't artifact or crash yet I just thought I reached a reasonable rate for now. :thumb:
If you can't read it the scores were (3dMark Score 24033), (GPU Score 19820), (CPU Score 66324). Likewise on the GPU overclocks of core voltage=1087 core=815 shader clock=1630 memory clock=1850.

I would think nobody can beat that? without PHYSX adding to the CPU SCORE and a single 980x

Well if you take out the cpu score all together...you don't beat kruzn4evr GPU score of 46386. And if you look at my gpu score 42751 with only 3 480's vs your 5 GPU's score of 43068. Yes your score is indeed better...but 5 gpu's to beat 3.

Be cool to see if you ran a nvidia in that machine of your for physx's. It would score pretty well...

well I was just talking about CPU score only

but what 5 GPU's are u talking about?
I really only have 2 video cards.
1x 5970 and 1x 5870

so for ur 42751...... thats my 2 video cards to beat your 3 :thumb:
