Activity at several PC tech sites have dropped considerabley

Honestly we can talk about better graphics all we want, but at the end of the day someone still has to make all those very detailed models and textures.

With publishers trying to push games out faster and faster in addition to greatly increased detail taking longer and longer to make.. Yea.
Now on the other hand this does mean we can put more and more of those detailed models into one scene. So that is nice.

I don't believe that this trend is specific to PC hardware. I am pretty much a lurker and I read tons of forums and I see this happening in a lot of automotive, RC, and audio forums as well. The only thing I've seen get busier is firearms forums. I think that people spend a ton of time on facebook/twitter/instagram/youtube that they used to spend other places online. I also wonder if people have less disposable income to spend frivolously.
