Am I the only Psyko owner?

When i get around to ordering my pair i will let everyone know how good they are, unless of course there are millions of reviews by the time that actually happens.

I do plan on buying a set of these, I just don't know when. It seems like I've been waiting forever for them to come out so another month or two isn't going to make a difference at this point.

Hi bojangles., I'm sorry I did not ask my question properly. I am not promoting Psyko and I am no shill at all. I wanted to know if in fact there might be a better pair of cans out there that a member of this Forum may be aware of and would have tried these from a friend that may have them or from some other source. What I wanted to know is... Has anyone tried the Psykos and tried and knows of a better set that may or may not be available. If there is a set that is better,then I want them and I will buy them right now,provided they are not too way out there. As I have mentioned in previous posts,the reason I joined this forum is because of the knowledge and expertise of many of the members yourself included. If I came across as a know it all or whatever I apologize.My wife and I are into PC gaming in a big and growing way with both of us wanting the latest and greatest devices available and of course,within our budget.By the way, If you or anyone reading this know of a super sound card,I would appreciate any input. Thanks bojangles!
 
I plan on ordering a set of this when I have some spare cash.

Hopefully people trust me enough here to not call me a shill :haha:
 
The problem with these headphones are that they are in a niche market. It's a VERY small market. The provide extremely accurate surround sound, but that's about it. You can't really lug these around and not be called a nerd. There are plenty of other options for great sound quality such as Sennheiser HD555's. No surround sound though.

That's all these cans do: make sound accurate.

And that can be extremely useful in the right circumstances.

I have my Sony MDR-V700 Headphone cans which I absolutely love for listening to music, but when it comes to gaming, all I want is something with decent audio quality, but great accuracy and features(such as a good Mic).

I'll have a set as of tomorrow. I'll be using it with an Audigy ZS Notebook PCMCIA sound card piped through an expresscard adapter to my Alienware M17. It'll be my first 5.1 headset so I'll have nothing to compare it against, but after I fire up Modern Warfare 2 I'll be able to give you and everyone else my impression of the cans.

Great! I'm looking forward to a review from an actual user.Now maybe I can find out whether or not what I hear from the Psyko is about the same as others are hearing.It is possible that I was so blown away with the design etc.that I was hearing what I wanted to hear.Know what I mean? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
 
So my Psykos arrived today. Considering my full-time job, it'll likely take me a day or two of listening before I could give my feedback. Stay tuned.

I order myself these instead of the Psykos:

If you're living in Europe, those are half the price compared to the Psyko 5,1 (if you take the price + shipping, duties etc). And they sound better than my surroundsystem, surround sound is a lot more accurate. It's a pity Psyko doesn't offer any discounts even when ordering a few headphones. Not even free shipping. Incredible. Otherwise me and my friends had tried those. But now we are really happy with the Tritton surround headphones :)
 
At $300 it is quite expensive and they are ugly as can be but the real deal breaker is I'm paying this much for headphones and I can't even use them with my 360 and PS3? Forget it.
