ASUS P5KC testing

Well to add to this thread.
I also have a P5KC with a Q6600 GO using Mushkin HP2-6400 2G Kit.
PT# 996533 uses Promos chips.
I moved from Corsair and this Mushkin clocks way better..
Anyway I'm running at 3.2GHz
Vcore is 1.4
mem timings are
4
5
4
11
5
42
11
3
5
mem voltage 2.2
fsb termination 1.35
northbridge V 1.5
trd=8

I like this board..
I'm still playing with it, I like to take my time pushing my hardware.
it gets a thumbs up from me..:thumb:

One more P5K-C here! :)

I´m doing 3.9Ghz right now and 1.5V . No mods! :)

My setup is:

Q6600 (G0)
Team Xtreem DDR-800 4,4,4,12
WD Raptor 74 Mb
eVGA 8800 GTS 640Mb
Asetek Waterchill Xtreme + Swiftech APOGEE GTX
BeQuiet 700W

Well so much for that board. P5KC didnt like priming Q6600 at 3.8G, too much power and heat I guess. Primed an hour and then there was fire lol, my room still reeks. :(

I knew there might be an issue there, power reg is brutal that lil area by cpu socket runs at 90C even with HS and 120mm panaflo over it on full speed.

Have to fine that lil chip now to replace.

Holy cow! I´m doing 4.2GHh now and hope that my board does now do that. :) Anyways, not going to prime, because it would crash for sure! Just testing what this baby can do.

I´m doing now 4GHz for playing without problems. 3DMark passed also many times... :)

Did vdroop mod and after that droop is only 0.008, very good i think.
