Asus Stops Production on 16GB 5070Ti - 5060 Gpus

"as conditions approve" to me in this market means 1y+ based on other statements about memory supply and pricing. Nvidia 6000 series is more liekly to come before memory stabilization at this rate so might as well call it EoL.

There was some confusion about what HUB said which is why they made the post. They originally published a video about it and then MLID added on top of it.

Asus released another statement.

According the VCZ summary of the situation, HUB asked for a review sample of a 5070Ti but told none available. Then the wording from Asus PR hinted these products are effective EOL. Asus release statements to cover the fact that it's not really EOL but supply constraint. HUB asked for a review sample again. Interesting VCZ pointed back to a HKEPC article saying the VRAM are being diverted to either top end or low end. While no true EOL statement is coming out from NVidia, to the retailer, these cards have disappear from the channel and effectively EOL.

I think it's more accurate to say that, effectively ALL GPU's are going EoL over the next few months. Stock is going to dry up due to memory becoming unobtanium. As @Izerous mentioned above, new generations of cards will be designed before this whole situation blows over, and I strongly suspect manufacturers will reserve at least some memory stock for future gen cards to ensure they don't lose market share. (Which is what laptop and prebuild manufacturers are doing already.) This will cut availability of memory down even further, hurting the current market.

The AI bubble burst can't happen soon enough for me.

So MLID did a follow up video, according to his sources:

Might follow his advise and pick up a RX 9070XT later to replace my 3060Ti 8GB.
