Asus TUF RTX 5080 OC

By today's standards, I think a kidney?

But seriously... the Gigabyte Aero SFF, MSI Ventus and Gigabyte Gaming all go for $1899, and there are a few less desirable 5080's in the $1700 range. I would suggest $1500-1600, although it may take a bit to move as the 5070ti is really only supposed to be about 10% lesser a card and it goes for $1100 depending on the model.

Seems kind of low at $1500. There arent even any 5080 series cards on Craigslist or even RFD to get an idea from. Also, I think the TUF OC is probably better than any Gigabyte (and I have bought gigabyte before) beceause they seem to have issues with the thermal paste, etc. As for 5070ti I think 10% is the best case scenario and probaly more of a difference at 4k. In the end if people want a 5070ti they can get one. I'm asking about a 5080.

I bought it on Nov 26th. I think I would probably be ok with $1600-1650. But as I learned I will probably have to go local on FBM or something. People want to pay too little on here.

Yep, we are cheap and we want a deal. Also, we look at the performance chart too hard to come up with a price which I'm also guilty of. But I think $1650 without tax is not a bad price given the current market condition. Even Asus website up it to $1850 before tax and it's out of stock. I would try $1800 local and FBM and see if there are any takers.

Honestly you're pricing is probably pretty bang on $1600-1700 just depends on how quickly you want to move it. Market's a bit quirky right now but I still get a lot of asks from people who want to just buy the gpu out of my systems so might be lucky there.

With receipt/november purchase I don't think you should have too much issue moving it.

Since it's listed at $1850 on ASUS's site, you could probably start at $1800? That's still like $300 savings in HST provinces.

There seems to be major supply issues with 5080s and 5090s once again. Reports of Microcenters immediately selling out of any stock they get in as people do online pickup orders. Allegedly there's people driving all over the USA to collect them too. Canada Computers seems to be similar, as soon as a store has stock listed online, it's gone within minutes.

I hate fueling the fire, and your $1600 price feels a whole lot more reasonable, but you might as well get all you can? I feel like this hobby is done for as these prices don't feel sustainable, yet people keep buying. Might as well go with the flow.
