Coming from DOS2, the final battel was WAY easy. DOS2 was legit hard af. This wasn't.
Karlach ending is pretty sad. WTF, she either becomes a mind flayer, goes to hell for the rest of her life, or dies. That is like a CP2077 level ending.

I missed / effed up a ton. So looking forward to a 2nd playthrough. Doing a Dark Urge play. Sounds like it should be interesting.
I've skimmed through some of the posts of people who have been dumpster diving the game data. There's a lot of cut content that Larian changed or had to change when they excluded the Upper City - Karlach was apparently one of them. Which is why some of the journal entries & even conversations don't make sense.
From what others have said about the previous games that Larian created (Original Sin 2), Larian will pull a lot of it back together eventually within the next year.
I was pissed off with CP2077 ending as well. While I can understand multiple choices making for bad endings (like Mass Effect 2), surely there's a route or multiple routes to better endings available.
I was thinking of grabbing this biut then I rememebed that this is a type of game style play I dont care for
Are any of you seeing stuttering in the minimap when rotating your view? Rotating my view is smooth in the game world but the minimap image stutters, for lack of a better word. I don't recall that before the latest big patch, at least I never noticed it like now.
Nothing noticeable. I'll watch more closely next time I play.
Baldur's Gate 3 PS5 trailer - don't know why it's restricted - no obvious nudity, etc. Violent but then so are most games.
If someone is only going to do a single play I'd highly suggest doing Dark Urge. It just feels so unique compared to every other RPG story out there. And if you have a dark twisted sense of humour, then it is hilarious at times. Not always mind you.

Still working on my 1st playthru (had to restart) but I'm back to about where I was in Chapter 3. Not likely to play dark urge for a while. A few other things I'd like to try out first. Another custom character, then one of the origin characters.
What I'm finding a problem with is my limited past experience with a few classes, plus ignorance of the DnD spells. I never really played Barbarian, Druid or Monk. Usually wizard types, rogue, ranger, sometimes cleric. So when add Karlach or one of the druids, I'm fumbling around.
