The nice thing about a wood test bench is you can drill holes everywhere for mounting hardware and tidying up cables.

You could do that with metal too just with a different bit.

If its gonna get kicked around, metal is better. But I didn't want to spend more than an hour or two on it.

This has been my personal rig for a while now - and it's also what I'm taking with me when I leave home soon for my new apartment. I'm typing on this system right now and do a bit of light gaming (circa 2001) whenever I can :thumb:

I gotta name my HDDs somehow no? Hard to find which HDD is which after a while.

Named after my favourite cities/cities im dying to visit. Not shown, Casablanca, Monte carlo, Paris, and San Francisco.
