discussion DDR5 pricing going up FAST

I had been watching a few DDR4 kits to make a jump from 64GB -> 128GB...

that jump would cost me more than what I spent on the silly homelab stuff now ($800+ for just DDR4 ram in the spec I wanted)

I just went to the egg to look for my ram, just 2x16GB... 1000 dollars!

What the actual..

They had some cheapo Corsair stuff for like 200-250, but most of what I saw for 2x16 was 300 bucks. Crazy.

This is Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB DDR5 3600 CL36 2x16GB. It double in price in 3 months. Looks like I won't be upgrading next year or even Zen6. GPU prices probably will go up again.
