DDR5 pricing going up FAST

I'm lucky enough to have what I need for now. But it's future GPU prices that concern me. I was waiting on the next Gen release from AMD, but this could kill those hopes.

when i got my 9070XT usd was $560 ended up $1200 CAD.

Holy hell $445 - $997.38 that's some scalapocalypse levels of scalping.

It's not looking good. I think my 4090 will be the first gpu to last me 3+ generations at this rate. Prices are stupid. RAM is getting bonkers and manufacturer reliability is at all time lows. Your 12VHPWR might melt, ASUS warranty is a gamble, ASRock Mobos like to scorch CPUs, GB has exploding PSUs, etc etc.

Shitty time for the hobby.

This is crazy, ordered a couple kits of ddr5 sodimm, should have been here a few days ago. Reach out to the sell as they did say shipped. Now they are showing not shipped and the price went from $140 to $312

and memory manufacturer's dont want to ramp up production because they dont want over supply >< Literal catch 22 they are scrapping the barrel now and dont want to ramp up for fear of making too much.
