Our initial impressions of the GTX 460 768MB were extremely positive since it offers amazing performance for a card that is priced at around $200. It certainly looks like Nvidia is well on its way to getting better control of its thermal and power issues evident in the 480/470 architecture. Perhaps this could lead to a dual gpu to knock the 5970 down a notch and reclaim the overall crown of the most powerful gpu on the planet. Might be time to sell my 5970 Blacks, hehe.

As always, this review is nothing less than excellent. Unfortunately, this is keeping your reviews intense. Maybe tougher on you, great for all of us. If I could, I'd buy you a brew! Not too many though, wouldn't want to get you drunk!!! I'm sure you love doing these, as is evidenced by your thoroughness. Keep up the great work SKYMTL!

Great review as always... looking forward to the 460 1GB SLI review as that's what I have on order :D.

Amazing. I'm sold. Time for two of these bad boys

Looses spectacularly to the HD 5830 at high res + high AA

These cards are quite loose. They should use belts to tighten up :haha:

Great scaling and performance, but when serious muscle is required it fails. Like high tesselation and AA. Sometimes the 460SLI fails and a single 480 holds it self mighty
