Multiple news outlet is reporting on FuriosaAI. TL;DR, a new lower power NPU targeting at AI inference (not training). The goal is to provide an alternative to Nvidia and a specific chip for inference. It's entering mass production this month, at least according to FuriosaAI. If this could suppress the used market for Nvidia server cards, that would be great. I wouldn't mind a A100 in the $2K range.

It's not bad so far, more of a "let see where this leads". Can't afford to complain after 2 years and 2 months out of work.
