Futuremark 3DMark 11 Launch Delayed

I got Vantage with my GTX285, used that code for the discount on 3DM11, and it worked. Now have Shattered Horizon too, not that it's too likely that I'll ever play it. Have way to many games on steam that I haven't played.
 
Wow this is the worst i've ever seen vantage run my system. I run eyefinity and in the past it would just show on one monitor full screen, now it shows on my far right screen in a very small chopped off view. Seems like this was a rushed to market product as it doesn't feel or even look like a proper benchmarking tool for multiple gpus compared to their previous versions.
 
Just like most new games, the .inf file needs to have a tag for it to run sli. Or just force afr2, problem solved. NV will address it when they release the next driver...

K tried what you said with forcing SLI.

AFR2 X2043 3DMarks
AFR1 X1655 3DMarks
Default (no SLI) X1877 3DMarks

Clearly SLI isn't completely working. Sure AFR2 does increase performance but the GPU's are only at 50% usage so I expect way more when SLI is properly supported.

I am also a bit sad there is no physx in the benchmark.....
 
Yeah performance will improve once NVIDIA rolls it into their driver. It does have a physics processor for the GPU though, just now it's open source so all cards can benefit. Bullet physics/ directcompute I think

The lights all flicker with SLI forced.

Never knew this benchmark would be so demanding but it is a benchmark and not a game. Also futuremarks has never been good at releasing something that performs at the visual quality.
