Gaming Headphones Showdown. What To Buy?

I will have 2.0 all my life^^ and also, better buy music heaphones for gaming...Buy 2.0 heaphones and enable dolby surround with a decent sound card,it's still very good for gaming (don't like it for music though)

I really can tell where the enemies are like that...

I would have recommended the Razer Tiamat as well. Only, after owning them for a mere 2 months the built in amp/control is crapping out. Overheating and causing all kinds of line interference. Even some of the cheaper things I have purchased in the past had more staying power than this. Too bad, cause when they work, they sure did make BF3 a pleasure to play.

Edit: Hell, these things were supposed to replace my 15 year old Radio Shack cheapo's. Yeah, right...:angry2:

My $12.00 Sony headphone special from Winner's is starting to have a bit of a crackle in it, ... sounds like a good excuse to upgrade to good headphones. I'd like to get the one's with a mic. I'd like to get one set that would work on my PC, my Playbook and my ASUS Transformer (Android). The fellow at Radio Shack recommended some JVC units. With the tablets I can use bluetooth but my PC has no blueteeth. Do I just need to buy one of these IOGear USB Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter, Multi-Language Edition at Memory Express or one of these Gigabyte Bluetooth 4.0 & WiFi Expansion Card at Memory Express (assuming I can make it fit on my board, not sure I can get to my expansion slots with two video cards on the M board)

I just got these and i love them. They are comfy and sound good.
