No, only one would be compatible as this board only supports Crossfire (ATI's dual card solution).

Thanks for the prompt reply, but i have another question -> The 2 eVGA 8800's could be compatiable with a eVGA nForce 780i SLI right?

Yes, they would be compatible. But if you were to get an SLi board, I'd get the EVGA 750i "FTW Edition". Or just buy a Crossfire board.

Thank you all for your help .. and what's the difference between the 750i and 780i, which one is better in terms for gaming?

-thanks everyone

Unless you are running an SLI system, you probably wouldn't see a difference.

The 750i runs 2 Nvidia cards at x8/x8, the 780i does it at x16/x16.

SLI really is a waste of money these days.

If your running a single monitor under 24" go for something like the 9800GTX but if your running a single 24" just run a GTX280.

What he said ^
I prefer to stick with Intel based boards, a P45 mobo like the Asus P5Q Deluxe or Pro and a single GTX280 would rock:thumb:

Thank you all for your replies again. So if i had a nForce 750i FTW and a eVGA GTX 280 would that be a good setup?:bananafunky:

- Thanks again.
